Welcome to Sonata Piano School in Aberdeen!
Sonata Piano School is a family-run studio owned by husband-and-wife team. Both Kamil and Svetlana are professional musicians dedicated to nurturing your musical journey through personalized piano lessons on one-to-one basis.
There are four more teachers at the school who are also committed to deliver high standard lessons while maintaining a welcoming and accessible learning environment.
Our school is located in the centre of Aberdeen at Holburn Street. We have two teaching rooms, each featuring a high-quality acoustic piano: a Yamaha baby grand and a Brinsmead upright. In addition to piano tuition, we also offer lessons in pipe organ and guitar including classical, acoustic, electric, bass guitar, and ukulele.
Any age and level can start a journey with music lessons at Sonata Piano School. You are in the hands of fully qualified and experienced tutors with an endless passion for music and teaching profession.
Each lesson aims to inspire the student and to develop their inner musicality. Teachers carefully tailor every lesson to meet individual needs. The efficient time spent during the lesson and regular practice at home lead to a rewarding result. We prepare students for the ABRSM or Trinity College exams on request. We currently teach over 50 students each week, and all of our students consistently pass their exams, with the majority achieving Distinction or Merit. Playing for leisure without exams has been just as successful, while discovering vast range of repertoire the musical and technical skills improve along the way.
Our students have chance to perform at our annual school's concert at St Andrew's Cathedral in Aberdeen.
